There are two ways to use the Treehouse Forum. You can read posted messages as a guest, or you can register as a Forum participant. You do not need to register to read, but you cannot post without registering. If you would like to register, please read the following Treehouse Users’ Agreement. By registering, you are agreeing to all the terms and conditions contained herein.

I hereby acknowledge that I am requesting access to utilize an information-sharing forum on the Treehouse web site and that my participation in any of the online forums provided on this web site is contingent on my agreement to the following terms and conditions.

1.You must be 18 years of age or older to post at the Treehouse Forum.

2. The posts on the Treehouse Forum are provided for information only. Posts are made by individuals who are in similar life circumstances, but it is each member’s responsibility to assess their own needs, to act in their own best interest and to obtain medical/professional assistance specific to their needs. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not the views of the owners/administrator(s) of the Treehouse web site. The Treehouse Forum is NOT a substitute for medical/professional intervention/advice/therapy.

3. Each member will be respectful of other users and will not knowingly or willingly post any material that is hurtful to other members. To do so is reasonable and just cause for temporary or permanent banning from the Treehouse Forum. To the extent the Treehouse web site contains forums and other communication facilities, the user agrees to use such forums only to send and receive messages and material that are proper and related to the particular forum. By way of example, and not as a limitation, the user agrees that when using a forum, the user shall not:

4. The administrator(s) of the Treehouse Forum does not screen or edit messages posted in the forums or any other user-created content. However, the Treehouse reserves the right to monitor said content and to remove any objectionable material at any time, and in our sole discretion. Forums are not moderated on a continuous basis; given the interactive nature of the forums, the Treehouse cannot guarantee that all messages posted are appropriate. Members are advised that they assume all responsibility for any risk of viewing inappropriate messages. Should a member find an inappropriate message, they are encouraged to email the administrator. Decisions of administrator(s) are final.

5. The administrator(s) reserve the right to make any modification we deem necessary or desirable to any message posted. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owners/administrator(s) of the Treehouse web site with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s). By registering and making posts, you agree to abide by the Forum rules, both stated and unstated. Further, you agree that any messages and its complete contents become the sole and exclusive property of the owners of the Treehouse Forum. We have the sole and exclusive rights to modify, delete, or make any use whatsoever in the Forum and in any other location and medium, of all content posted. The administrator(s) makes no representations regarding the amount of time that the Forum or any other site content will be preserved by the Treehouse web site.

6. Although the Treehouse web site includes links providing direct access to other Internet sites, the owners of the Treehouse take no responsibility for the content or information contained on those other sites, and do not exert any editorial or other control over those other sites.

7. Every reasonable effort has been made to provide a reliable, safe venue for members to share information via the Treehouse Forum. As with any electronic medium, there is some risk. Users are advised they assume any and all risk involved in participation in the Forum and are encouraged to utilize a "nickname" and refrain from posting identifying information or email addresses.

8. Your participation in the Forum and other web site features of the Treehouse are at your own risk. If you are dissatisfied with any feature, operability, contents, this agreement, other agreements imposed as a condition of usage, or any other component of the Treehouse web site, your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the services on the Treehouse web site.

9. Due to the nature of some of the Treehouse Forum, there may be posts that are graphic in nature; these may include such topics as rape, violence, abuse, death, suicidal feelings, etc. Each user assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining appropriate boundaries for themselves. Users release the administrator(s) of the Treehouse from any and all moral/legal responsibility for their personal response to such messages.

As with any growing service, occasionally it will be necessary to modify and update the Treehouse Users’ Agreement. Should this occur, the new agreement will be posted on the Treehouse web site and members will be advised by the administrator(s). The Treehouse holds each user responsible for having current knowledge and understanding of the Treehouse Users’ Agreement.

Use of the Treehouse Forum constitutes acceptance of the current Users’ Agreement and as such, releases the owners/administrator(s) of the Treehouse from any and all liability. The administrator(s) of the Treehouse Forum may terminate your account if it believes, in its sole discretion, that you have violated any of the terms of this agreement.
